Since 1998 SoundSec has supplied security services to an expanding portfolio of clients. The company has established a solid reputation with the Security Industry Authority (SIA), local councils and the London Metropolitan Police.
In 2009 SoundSec was acquired by Ocean Security Solutions; The dedicated security branch of the Ocean Group. Together the two companies have been able to combine their experience and resources to offer customers an even greater level of service without the need for increased cost.
MANAGEMENT
Each Operational Manager and Company Director has extensive experience in the security industry. We believe our entire management must have direct experience working in the field in order to deliver our highly regarded and innovative service.
STAFF
We do not use self-employed subcontractors on any of our contracts, nor do we operate limited company umbrella schemes. All of our staff are employed directly on a PAYE basis and are fully screened and vetted to BS7858. Our staff are carefully selected based on their experience, communication skills, appearance and professionalism and are assigned to each contract according to their specific skills.
COMBATTING CRIME
Our teams receive intelligence electronically 24 hours a day from various organisations with which the company is registered. Clients and staff are kept informed and advised of imminent risks accordingly and appropriate steps are taken in response to any information gathered.
TERRORISM AWARENESS
Terrorism Awareness and Major Incident Response are primary training objectives for our security force. Our teams attend training sessions that are specifically aimed at security staff and the night time economy and the vital role that can be played in preventing and detecting terrorist activity.
THE SECURITY INDUSTRY AUTHORITY (SIA)
Ocean Security Solutions Ltd holds SIA Approved Contractor Status for the provision of Door Supervision and Security Guarding services.
We were among the first companies to register with the SIA in 2003. When the Approved Contractor Scheme began in 2006 the Company promptly achieved Approved Contractor Status and our scoring has consistently been in the top ten percentile of all UK security companies.
