Steve Berresford - Managing Director, Ocean Contract Cleaning

Steve Berresford joined Ocean Contract Cleaning in 1995 as an Area Manager for Buckinghamshire, having gained several years of experience with another contract cleaning company.

His motivational and analytical approach was quickly demonstrated and put to good use as he took responsibility for site inspections, quality monitoring and helping to form budgetary policies.

Steve’s consistent ability to produce results led to him climbing the promotional ladder to his current position of Managing Director. He attributes his success to the guidance and training Ocean has provided him and says that, while the role is the most challenging he has faced, it has also been the most rewarding.

 
Steve is a qualified BICs assessor and also has NVQ qualifications within the cleaning industry. Among his achievements have been his success in bonding Ocean Contract Cleaning Ltd's management team and ensuring they continually strive to improve customer service.

When asked what the highlights of his time at Ocean have been, Steve answered: “During my time as Managing Director I have been delighted with the results team members have produced and look forward to overseeing yet further development in their abilities.

“It is only with team development that I can continue to ensure that Ocean remains one of the most competitive and service-focused cleaning companies.”
